Olathe Sweet Corn
Colorado’s Sweetest Summertime Tradition
Grown exclusively on Colorado’s Western Slope, Olathe Sweet Corn is famous for its exceptional sweetness, tender kernels, and generous ears that pack more corn on every cob. Warm, sunny days followed by cool mountain nights help this unique variety of corn develop its signature juicy sweetness. The result is a sweet corn that generations of Coloradans have come to love.

Meet the Families Behind the Sweetness
When Olathe’s farmers lost their barley contract with Coors in the 1980s, we began looking for a new crop that could sustain our community. After exploring several options, sweet corn proved to be the perfect fit, and a Colorado icon was born.
Today, Mountain Quality Farms—our collective of eight family farms—is dedicated to growing premium Olathe Sweet Corn. By combining generations of farming tradition with modern growing practices, we continue to produce exceptional sweet corn while helping the Olathe community thrive.
